Update (April 20, 2008): Yes the site is still coming down December 2008; however I wanted mention a few things:
1) Most of the authors listed here already had their stories posted on other sites. I just haven't listed them all because those sites have adult content and linking to them would defeat the original intention of the "A Stopping Place" archive - to provide a family friendly archive.
2) Nearly every story that is or was posted this site is also contained within the Way Back Machine: Direct link to the archived site
3) I know in the original posting I said "As I don’t know what the various authors would want done with their stories I've decided not to let anyone else take/host them until I am able hear back from them." - This doesn't mean you can't save the stories for your own use and pass them around to others that ask about them. I just didn't want people posting them up on other archives without the permission of the authors.
